THE PLOT:

Confederate soldiers rob a bank leaving no survivors. Escaping with a ton of Confederate gold, they hide out at a old plantation. But this plantation has a secret. The head of the plantation sold his soul to a demon. Transforming him and all he loved into demonic creatures and no one is safe from the creatures they've become.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

First of all we can't be concerned with characters that are cold blooded murderers, I don't care that they are deserting the army, the confederates were wrong in the first place. They murdered for gold, that's wrong, so we can't feel bad when the ghost or demons or whatever they hell they are kills them. Second, the effects are good, but if you don't care about the characters, the story falls flat. Lastly, the story ends in a very predictable bad ending, that the last survivor burst out of the field and what a surprised he's turned into one of those weird dog monsters from the beginning. I found it dull, the characters aren't worth saving and a bad ending. I give it the CRAP-O-LANTERN.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I think anyone enjoys this movie needs to get his or her heads examined. What the hell was Henry Thomas thinking? This murderous scumbag isn't worthy of the kid from E.T. I too give this crapper the CRAP-O-LANTERN.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ CREATURE EFFECTS (The ghost effects is cool.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- MURDERS HEROES (The "heroes" of the movie are nothing more then murdering scumbags.)
- NO ONE TO CHEER FOR (With no real heroes, there is no one to pull for. It's evil and eviler.)

...AND FINALLY...

- BAD ENDING (As soom as they entered the plantation, they all were turned into monsters and didn't know it.)
